About Women on the Move

Moving company packed, dropped off furniture and boxes in their new home, and left at 10 pm. Boxes were packed to the ceiling. Bedding? Towels? Shower Curtain? Coffee Pot? The great box mystery had begun. Everyone was hungry, tired, stressed and in a great mood.... There had to be a better way, thus: Women on the Move was born!

The Founders Vision:
Watching my friends move, I realized this was not just a job for men. Women on the Move offer's another angle to a predominately male industry. Our business brings a gentle, no-nonsense approach, a woman's understanding and hands-on-experience. All your moving questions and concerns can be answered by one telephone call. We alleviate the worry and stress of packing!

Unpacking and setting your home uses our creative and unique talents. When we leave, your beds are made, kitchen dishes are in the cabinets, dining room china closets are filled and you are set up as if you have lived there for years. We like every story to have a happy ending.

Moving is named as number three on the list of stressful situations,
right behind death and divorce!

• Organize the kitchen in an efficient manner
• Pots, pans, and dishes are washed and put away
• Linens are folded and beds are made
• Clothes are folded or hung in closets
• Computer and sound systems are carefully disconnected and reassembled
• All boxes and materials are removed
• Dresser drawers can be lined with scented paper
• Both old and new homes can be cleaned
